On September 2nd, the fourth “BRIDGE for Cities 4.0: Connecting Cities through the New Industrial Revolution”, co-sponsored by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Finance Centre for South-South Cooperation (FCSSC), officially kicked off at the Vienna International Centre in Vienna, Austria.

The conference aimed to explore how cities can improve the quality of life of their residents by using advanced technologies and new industrial solutions to reduce urban carbon emissions, improve public services, create new jobs and attract a highly skilled workforce.

With the approval of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, HIETECH, the group company of ENEURON, created a Shenzhen industry delegation along with several other outstanding enterprises, to attend the event, and jointly presented the innovative technologies and advanced ideas of Shenzhen enterprises to the mayors and city leaders of the “Belt and Road” countries, as well as other European countries. HIETECH also showcased ENEURON’s building smart IoT technology.

The day before the main conference (September 2nd), at a seminar organized by UNIDO and the enterprise promotion meeting, which were the main events, all of the enterprises introduced their core product technologies at the investment promotion meeting of UNIDO. Mr. Liu Bing, the CTO of HIETECH, gave a comprehensive presentation, introducing the service concept and extensive practical applications of ENEURON’s building smart IoT technology.

The main conference officially began on September 3rd “BRIDGE for Cities - Belt and Road Initiative: Developing Green Economies for Cities” is an annual event that aims to promote the implementation of the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” through the Belt and Road Initiative, and to encourage municipal officials and development stakeholders to increase their participation in inclusive and sustainable urban and industrial development initiatives.

Mr. Li Yong, the Director-General of UNIDO, delivered a keynote speech at the conference, and introduced cases on sustainable development of Shenzhen.

Subsequently, the leaders of the National Development and Reform Commission, the municipal government and the municipal development and reform commission inspected the site. The political and business elites from all over the world were keenly interested in HIETECH ENEURON’s building smart IoT technology.

The conference concluded on September 4th.
